At Carbon Wave Fibre Solutions, we envision a future where innovation meets sustainability. Established in 2023, we
are
a pioneering force in the world of GRP, GRC, GRG products.
GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic, also known as Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP). It is a composite material made by reinforcing a plastic polymer matrix with fine fibers of glass. The glass fibers provide high strength and stiffness to the material and make it strong and durable.
Glass-fibre reinforced concrete, or GRC, is an innovative and lightweight concrete. With the opportunity to cast virtually unlimited shapes, profiles and textures – GRC can bring your project to life without limitations. It uses alkali-resistant glass fibres as reinforcement instead of the steel used in conventional precast. Uniquely agile, versatile and sustainable, this material is quickly becoming a choice solution for architects, designers and builders globally.
Glass-reinforced gypsum (GRG), which may also be called glass fibre reinforced gypsum (GFRG) is a composite material consisting of gypsum casting plaster and glass fibre matting that reinforces the structure of the overall material. It’s more durable than many forms of traditional plasterwork, can offer smoother finishes, and has higher impact resistance. These properties, as well as others, are often the defining factor in contractors and architects choosing to use GRG in their work.
Waterproofing your home or water tanks & manholes is crucial for protecting your property and ensuring your family’s safety. The right waterproofing solutions can prevent water ingress, reduce moisture levels, and minimize the risk of mold and breathing problems. When choosing a waterproofing company, it’s important to find experienced contractors who can provide the best techniques available in the market. GRP lining, for example, is a highly effective method for waterproofing.
Glass reinforced concrete (GRC), otherwise known as glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC),is also a composite material. Unlike GRG, it uses concrete strengthened with glass fibres to give the material its durability. It is often used for ornamental purposes (including for the construction of fountains) and, also unlike GRG, can be used in exterior spaces. As it can be used outside, it will often be manufactured for the express purpose of creating building façade panels, or for use as architectural precast concrete.
Glass-reinforced gypsum (GRG), which may also be called glass fibre reinforced gypsum(GFRG) is a composite material consisting of gypsum casting plaster and glass fibre matting that reinforces the structure of the overall material. It’s more durable than many forms of traditional plasterwork, can offer smoother finishes, and has higher impact resistance. These properties, as well as others, are often the defining factor in contractors and architects choosing to use GRG in their work. Many even consider the material to be an ideal alternative to other forms of plaster, particularly if they are attempting to undertake complex projects.
HDPE has a very good UV resistance and functions well in cold temperatures. It is also strong and very stiff. HDPE is most desirable characteristic, though, might be its superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals. With its relatively cheap price and the fact that multiple sheets can be joined using welding machine, HDPE become one of the most popular geo membrane types worldwide. HDPE liners are commonly used for landfills and chemical containment projects, but it is also safe and well-suited for fish ponds. HDPE liners are very durable, the life can last upwards of 50 years when covered.
The erection of structural steelwork consists of the assembly of steel components into a frame on site. The processes involve lifting and placing components into position, then connecting them together. Generally this is achieved through bolting but sometimes site welding is used.
