In-Progress Before
Our GRP Lining / Lamination systems utilise high‑performance, chemical‑grade resins and multi‑layer glass fibre reinforcement to create seamless, durable, and waterproof barriers. Designed for the harshest industrial environments, these linings provide long‑term protection against corrosion, chemical attack, and water ingress.
Chemical‑Resistant Materials – Formulated with isophthalic or vinyl ester resins to withstand acids, alkalis, solvents, and wastewater.
Multi‑Layer CSM Lamination – Controlled thickness application ensures uniform coverage, high tensile strength, and crack resistance.
Seamless & Impermeable – No joints or seams means zero leakage points; ideal for water‑tight applications.
High Adhesion – Bonds strongly to concrete, steel, and other substrates, even in damp conditions.
Temperature & UV Resistance – Suitable for outdoor or high‑temperature processes (with appropriate topcoats).
Manholes & Sewers – Rehabilitation of corroded concrete or brick manholes, preventing infiltration and structural deterioration.
Water Tanks – Potable water storage, fire‑fighting tanks, and process water vessels – GRP lining ensures water purity and extends tank life.
Wet Areas & Containment Bunds – Industrial floors, chemical bunds, and secondary containment areas where spills occur.
Roofs & Gutters – Waterproofing for flat roofs, gutters, and drainage channels in commercial or industrial buildings.
Pipelines & Ducts – Internal lining for large‑diameter pipes to resist abrasion and chemical attack.
Surface Preparation – Abrasive blasting or mechanical scarification to achieve a clean, open texture.
Primer Application – Penetrating primer to seal the substrate and promote adhesion.
Laminating – Alternate layers of glass fibre mat (CSM) and resin applied by hand lay‑up or spray‑up, building to specified thickness (typically 3–6 mm).
Curing & Finishing – Ambient or heat‑accelerated cure, followed by topcoat (e.g., UV‑resistant, anti‑skid) where required.
Quality Testing – Spark testing, thickness verification, and adhesion pull‑off tests to ensure integrity.
Our GRP lining systems comply with international standards (e.g., BS EN 13121, ASTM D4097). All materials are WRAS‑approved for potable water contact where applicable. Each project includes a detailed quality plan, material certificates, and post‑installation inspection.
